Deep Dive Games, founded in St. Marys, Georgia, in October 2020, is a community-focused game store originally established by Active Duty Navy Submariners. We are dedicated to providing a welcoming environment for all hobbyists.

We recognize that most corporations today seem to view customers as nothing more than a barrier between the company and the money. We absolutely do not align with that ideology. We recognize that these hobbies don’t exist without the players. These players are real people with complex lives, and their hobbies are how they choose to spend their free time and money. Our job is to make the experience of enjoying your hobbies as fun and stress-free as possible! For that reason, we have a few ground rules at all of our locations:

1. Profits are not our first priority. We NEVER price gouge. Any product we buy from a wholesale distributor is priced at MSRP or LOWER GUARANTEED! This means, when the newest Collector Booster of Magic: The Gathering is selling for $1,000 on TCG player, whether we have 1 box or 1,000 boxes in stock, they will sell at MSRP or LOWER at any Deep Dive Games! We know we could make more money by basing our prices on the secondary market, but as long as our lights stay on, your hobby will be as budget-friendly as we can possibly make it! (Our TCG Singles ARE based on the secondary market, for trade purposes. However, our trade-in margins are extremely competitive!)

2. We want you to always have a positive experience when you come into our stores. We understand there are certain stigmas associated with some LGSs. Our stores are always clean and organized, our bathrooms always have complementary deodorant wipes and other sanitary products, and if a customer is not adhering to our personal hygiene policy, they will be asked privately and respectfully to leave the store until they can rectify the issue. This is in no way meant to embarrass anyone, we’ve all gotten off work before and not realized we could probably use a shower, all we mean to do is ensure everyone at the table is having a good time for the duration of their stay!

3. We support our local communities. While we are a rapidly expanding company, we strive to keep the “Small Town” feel at each location. Our store owners are always active members of their community. We hold charity tournaments, fundraisers, and are always looking for ways to work with local small businesses on any kind of collaboration!

4. We are a safe space for anyone who needs it. During business hours, our doors are open to anyone who respects the space and the people within it. You do not have to spend money at Deep Dive Games to be a member of our community, and you never will! We have free board game rentals in store, and give bottles of water away for free to players. The idea of our local kids being able to spend their afternoons or summers in our stores playing games with their friends, and not needing to spend any money is very important to us. It is important to us that the parents of any kids in our stores know that while their kids are with us, they’re safe. We also run our tournaments at a break-even (sometimes even at a loss) so they remain as affordable as possible for all members of the community if you do choose to participate in our paid events.

5. We believe in transparency. If you want to know what our overhead is, our profit margin on a particular product, or any other information that is relevant to your shopping experience, just ask! We have nothing to hide, and are more than happy to prove to our customers that we truly mean it when we say our prices are chosen with them in mind. “Why is this product so expensive?” is a VALID question! You only have so much money, and shouldn’t be wasting it on over-priced products! If you want to know why something is priced the way it is, just ask. We’ll show you what we paid for it, how much we stand to profit, and any other pertinent information you may need.

As we grow, we commit to never compromising our community values. While we do want to expand Deep Dive Games to the point that it is recognizable all over the country, we aren’t willing to do so by taking advantage of our customers or communities.
